Probably the most beautiful hotel in Trieste, 4* L was inaugurated in 1911 and was defined as "the most important and luxurious hotel in the Austro-Hungarian Empire".

Its monumental rooms, with the grand staircase and the vast Belle Époque skylight in a welcoming area with a modern touch like that of the Library, the collection of original Art Nouveau and Empire style furniture, the precious silks and sumptuous velvets, the colors warm and slightly powdery, they envelop guests in a luxurious atmosphere of times gone by. But its atmosphere is anything but old. In fact, recent renovations have given the hotel a glamor that is difficult to imitate. The hotel is seafront and rooms with a view  are also available.

I suoi monumentali ambienti, con lo scalone d'onore e il vasto lucernario Belle Époque in una zona accogliente e di tocco moderna come quello della Library, la collezione di mobili originali in stile liberty e impero, le sete preziose e i sontuosi velluti, i colori caldi e lievemente poudré, avvolgono gli ospiti in un'atmosfera lussuosa d'altri tempi.   Ma la sua atmosfera è tutt’altro che vecchia. Infatti i recenti restauri hanno dato all’hotel un glamour difficilmente imitabile. L’hotel è fronte mare e si possono prenotare anche camere con vista.
